Terms & Conditions - the basics

Welcome to HAPPY’s Cut N Style. By booking an appointment, purchasing services or products, or visiting any of our salon locations, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Appointments & Bookings

1.1 Appointments can be made in person, by phone, online, or through our social media platforms.

1.2 While walk-in clients are welcome, appointments are recommended to avoid waiting times.

1.3 Appointment times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by unforeseen circumstances.

1.4 We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to staff illness, emergencies, or operational requirements.

2. Late Arrivals

2.1 Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may have their appointment shortened or rescheduled.

2.2 Full service completion cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals.

2.3 Standard service charges may still apply.

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

3.1 We request at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or changes.

3.2 Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a booking deposit being required for future appointments.

3.3 HAPPY’s Cut N Style reserves the right to refuse future bookings from clients with excessive no-show records.

4. Service Satisfaction

4.1 We strive to provide high-quality services and customer satisfaction.

4.2 If you are dissatisfied with a service, please notify management within 7 days of your appointment.

4.3 Any correction service offered will be determined solely by salon management.

4.4 Refunds are generally not provided for completed services unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

5. Hair Colouring & Chemical Services

5.1 Clients must disclose all relevant hair history, including previous colouring, chemical treatments, and use of home hair products.

5.2 Results may vary depending on hair condition, texture, and previous treatments.

5.3 We cannot guarantee exact colour matches from photographs or online images.

5.4 Patch testing may be required prior to colour or chemical services.

5.5 HAPPY’s Cut N Style reserves the right to refuse chemical services where hair integrity may be compromised.

6. Health & Safety

6.1 Clients must inform staff of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or skin concerns that may affect services.

6.2 We reserve the right to refuse service if a treatment may pose a health or safety risk.

6.3 Clients displaying symptoms of contagious illnesses may be asked to reschedule their appointment.

7. Children

7.1 Children must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.

7.2 For safety reasons, children are not permitted in service areas unless receiving a service.

8. Pricing

8.1 Prices are subject to change without notice.

8.2 Promotional pricing is available only during the advertised promotion period.

8.3 Additional charges may apply for extra-long hair, corrective work, premium products, or additional service time.

9. Gift Vouchers

9.1 Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash.

9.2 Lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers may not be replaced.

9.3 Expiry dates will be applied in accordance with applicable Australian laws.

10. Memberships & Loyalty Programs

10.1 Membership benefits are subject to specific membership terms.

10.2 Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

10.3 Membership benefits cannot be combined with other offers unless specified.

10.4 HAPPY’s Cut N Style reserves the right to amend or discontinue membership programs at any time.

11. Retail Products

11.1 Product exchanges may be offered for faulty or defective items in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

11.2 Opened products cannot be returned due to hygiene and safety reasons unless faulty.

12. Photography & Marketing

12.1 With client consent, photographs and videos may be taken for training, educational, and marketing purposes.

12.2 Clients may decline photography at any time.

12.3 Images used for marketing remain the property of HAPPY’s Cut N Style.

13. Personal Belongings

13.1 Clients are responsible for their personal belongings.

13.2 HAPPY’s Cut N Style accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

14. Right to Refuse Service

14.1 We reserve the right to refuse service to any person displaying abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour.

14.2 Clients who fail to comply with salon policies may be asked to leave the premises.

15. Liability

15.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, HAPPY’s Cut N Style shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from services provided.

15.2 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

16. Privacy

16.1 Client information is collected solely for business, appointment, and customer service purposes.

16.2 Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy legislation.

16.3 Client information will not be sold or shared with third parties except where required by law.
